Scott is in his fifth year as the head coach at State Champion HSE and has 7 years of coaching high school lacrosse in Indiana. Before becoming head coach in 2013, he worked as an assistant at HSE in 2012 and at Noblesville in 2011. Scott played lacrosse in high school, received his teaching degree from Ball State University and played for the Ball States’ club lacrosse team which competed in the MCLA.
Chad is the head varsity lacrosse coach at Fishers High School and was an assistant coach since its inception. Chad is a 2005 graduate of Taylor University, where he played varsity lacrosse. Before coming to Fishers High School, Coach Taylor began coaching at Guerin Catholic High School from 2006 – 2008. At Guerin, he developed the program from a JV team to a varsity team.
Matt was the head varsity lacrosse coach at Fishers High School since it’s establishment until the 2017 season and has coached lacrosse for 17 seasons. Matt played goalie during his high school career and started the Ball State lacrosse club in 1995 where he was the starting goalie for 3 seasons. Matt was awarded the 2014 HCLC Coach of the year award and the 2015 US Lacrosse Indiana Chapter Coach of the year award and is the President and founder of the Hoosier Crossroads Lacrosse Conference (HCLC).
Mark has coached youth lacrosse, for both the HSE-Fishers Boys Youth Lacrosse Club and Mad Cats, for the past seven years. Prior to moving to the Midwest in 2006, Mark coached lax on the east coast, both at the high school (Chaminade High School) and DII college levels (Dowling College). Mark is originally from Long Island where he played lacrosse at perennial national powerhouse Chaminade High School. Mark received his bachelors degree from Cornell University where he played lacrosse and was on two national championship runner-up teams.
Keith has coached Youth sports for the past nine years. He has coached lacrosse for the past 5 years, for both HSE-Fishers Youth Lacrosse, indoor and the Mad Cats. Keith is certified through US Lacrosse as a Men's Level 2 Coach. An avid student of the game, Keith has an emphasis on strong defensive techniques and has introduced many advanced skills and techniques to his teams.
Mark spent his high school years in Northern Virginia where he played lacrosse as a midfielder. As his sons found the passion for the game Mark became more involved in Youth lacrosse and began coaching their teams. He is a US Lacrosse level 2 certified coach and is involved in the HSE-Fishers Lacrosse program in addition to focusing on the offense for the JV team. Mark is going into his third year as a Mad Cats coach.
Jacob started playing lacrosse when he was in sixth grade, continued to play lacrosse at Fishers High School and was a three year varsity captain. He was an HCLC First Team midfielder and an All State Honorable Mention. Jacob graduated in 2016 and is now studying in the Kelley School of Business with a minor in Spanish at Indiana University. As a coach he focuses on details, stick skills, and developing leadership and character.
JR has coached for HSE-Fishers Youth for the past eight years and is a coach for the Fishers High School team. Coach Brooks played for Guerin High School during their inaugural 3 years as a program as a goalie. JR will be in his fourth year as a Mad Cats coach focusing primarily on the defense and goalie positions.
Mike has several years coaching at many different age levels for the Mad Cats and HSE-Fishers Youth Lacrosse Club. Mike started playing lacrosse as a freshman at Wilton High school in Connecticut where he played both long pole midfield and close defense. He went on to play four years of division I lacrosse at Butler University as a defenseman. He utilizes these collective experiences to help foster a positive season for young lacrosse players.
Greg is entering his 26th year of coaching. He is currently coaching the HSE High School Freshman and JV team. He has coached a variety of sports including football, wrestling, rugby and lacrosse. He was the head wrestling and rugby coach at Pike High School and head wrestling coach at Hamilton Southeastern High School. He has spent the last couple of years coaching rec and spring travel lacrosse teams, most recently Greg coached the 14U Mad Cat teams.
Scott was an assistant varsity coach at HSE from 2008-2011. Since then he has coached the HSE / Fishers Youth spring and Mad Cats summer teams at 10U, 12U and 14U age levels. He is a US Lacrosse Level 2 certified coach and is a student of the game. Scott grew up in Pittsford, NY and played Midfield earning honorable mention. He played at Division III national champions Nazareth College, and received a degree from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).
Rob grew up and spent his high school years in Canada where he played lacrosse and soccer. After moving to the US he has been coaching Soccer and football for eight years and as his son grew into lacrosse he then started coaching with the HSE-Fishers boys lacrosse program. For the last four years he has coached the rec and travel teams and is also a US Lacrosse level 2 certified coach.
Zach was a 4 year varsity lacrosse player at Hamilton Southeastern high school and a 3 year captain for the program as a defensemen. Zach also played 3 years of Varsity football at Hamilton southeastern being a captain his senior year. He was selected for multiple all-state and all-conference awards during his four years and participated in multiple showcases one of which was the adrenaline top 5% of the West showcase. He has coached multiple youth clinics and was an assistant coach on the 2021 madcats team during the 2017 season. Zach currently is at Purdue university playing football and studying engineering. He aims to help players grow as people and improve their skills while creating a fun and immersive environment for the players.
Zach has 8 years of experience coaching high school and club lacrosse in Indiana. Zach played 3 years of high school lacrosse at Saline High School in Michigan before four years of MCLA lacrosse at Western Michigan University. While at WMU he served as the Vice President of the lacrosse club. After college Zach spent 3 years as JV head coach and Varisty assistant coach at Bishop Chatard before join Coach Beesley's staff as a varsity assistant for 3 years. Zach spent 4 summers coaching the high school Mad Cats.
Zach began playing lacrosse in the sixth grade and played lacrosse throughout Fishers High School where he was a two year varsity captain. Zach was an HCLC First Team All-Conference defenseman. He graduated in 2016 and is now studying Mechanical Engineering Technology with a minor in Electrical Engineering Technology in the Polytechnic School at Purdue University. As a coach he focuses primarily on the development of defensive abilities, positioning, and the development of work ethic.
Joe began playing lacrosse in the 4th grade, and continued to play at Fishers High School where he was a varsity captain and an all conference/2nd team all state Attack. He currently plays at Ohio Northern University and studies Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science.
